Last Friday, the 13th ohhahhahh, I celebrated my 29th birthday and the 14th we celebrated Valentines Day along with my 9th wedding anniversary! I really enjoyed being able to celebrate it all with my husband and my babies.
So, on my birthday I woke up to a weight of 179! Yahoo! It's been 5 years since I have seen a number in the 170's and it was one amazing birthday present. So, my mother-in-law and I went shopping and I purchased a pair of size 15 jeans!! I got 2 outfits in the JUNIORS department and couldn't be more excited. I spent two and a half years after I had my first baby still sporting maternity clothes because I couldn't fit into my pre-maternity clothes and because I was too depressed to shop for new clothes and because I was truly afraid of what size I was in. After I had my second baby I threw away all of my maternity clothes after I healed from my c-section and I got to work and got into a size 20 jean I was given. I started my fitness journey on and off in May of last year. I basically gave up during the summer because it was "too hot". What kind of excuse is that?! I finally started again in September and have been going strong since. I have lost 24 pounds and have gone from a 20/22 pants and shirt (xl/xxl) to a 14/15 jean (depending on brand) and a 15 (large) shirt! I am not giving up this time. I have given up too many times before and this time I will reach my goal and I will make myself proud. I will for once in my life love and appreciate me.
