Hey Y'all!! So sorry I have been MIA lately. After having surgery (uterine ablation) I couldn't do anything for a few weeks so I really haven't had a lot of blog worthy things happen. But I am here now! So a couple weeks ago my husband, my kids and myself ran a color run!! It was so much fun! We are doing a black light run in July and I am pumped! Also. as I have stated before it is hard for me to run an entire mile without stopping, but by-golly I am getting so much better. I can now do a mile any where from 12:37 to 15:00 minutes LOL It all depends on if we are on hills or flat land and whether I am pushing the double stroller or not! HA! Our 5k time was about 40 minutes. I know to a ton of people those times absolutely suck but you know what? I don't care. At least I am running, right? A 15 minute mile is the same distance as a 6 minute mile.
I have also started lifting weights! My husband bought weights, a dip station and a squat rack over a year ago. If you would've asked me then if I would ever use any of it I would have laughed in your face. Seriously. Now, it is on our deck and it's all mine! Haha! That way while the kids are playing on the other end of the deck in their sandbox, I can workout. I LOVE it! I would update on my weight loss, but I have no clue how much I weigh. My scale is broken. I am sad and I am going nuts. I do believe that is about the gist of what has been happening lately. Not incredibly exciting, sorry! LOL Maybe exciting things will happen soon.
