Hello! Hello! So, I entered a giveaway a few weeks ago on BoldFitMom blog and actually won!!! Yes! Me! I never win anything, but am super stoked to have won a Momentum Motivate Wrap! I have wanted one for a good while now but as most SAHMs know, funds are a bit tight.
So, I got this in the mail earlier and wanted to wear it a while before I reviewed it or took pictures. Now that I've worn it and"tested" it out, I'M IN LOVE! This wrap is beyond comfortable, doesn't rub, isn't too loose or too tight and it has the motivation I need to keep going everyday. I chose the, " Stronger Than Yesterday" wrap in teal. I have to continuously remind myself that what I'm doing is making me stronger and is changing me whether I physically see it or not. This is just a really cute reminder of that. Next, I am going to try and get a set of Foot Notes from Momentum that say, "Shut Up Legs" LOL I have to tell my legs that quite often!

On really bad days I sit and think about why I kill myself everyday working out and passing up delicious unhealthy foods, like my daughters birthday cake today. I have had a list of goals in my head that I repeat to myself to help me and I thought I'd finally jot them down and share them with all of you. I'd LOVE to hear your goals as well! Feel free to share them!
So, as I was looking through Instagram I found a post for a National Stroller Running Day, and since I always have my babies in the jogger stroller when I run or walk it grabbed my attention. The photo led me to a website, MomsLittleRunningBuddy.com (adorable name right?! I thought so!) It is being held on November 8,2014. PLEASE check out her blog to learn all about it! She also has some amazing prizes you can win!
I am just tickled by my first no scale victory. I bought this nightgown months ago. When I bought it I had it in my mind that it was an XL so it would probably be too big which means it was going to be extra comfy. Boy! Was I wrong! I got home and tried it on after my bath....naked duh! And I couldn't get it to button. I was devastated to say the least. I cried, took it off and threw it in the back of the closet where it has been since. So, I was cleaning out my closet today and came across it and thought, "What the heck, I'll try it just to see where I am" and son of a gun! It fit! OVER my street clothes! I couldn't believe it! I am so happy I tried it because I have been a little discouraged lately because I don't see a difference. I needed this......badly.
I can't wait for more no scale victories. These may be just as good as seeing the numbers drop on the scale. Who am I kidding? These are SO much better! Ha! I hope you all have a blessed night and a fabulous Monday! God Bless. Ah. Rest day and cheat day. Am I the only one who at this point in my journey does not overly do it on cheat day? I honestly, at this point, do not crave anything. Is that weird? My cheat today will be a delicious bowl of homemade chili. But, I can't even force myself to eat it as I normally would! I made a goal at the beginning of October and part of that goal was to go the whole month with no chips, therefore I will not add Frito's to my chili. Insert sad face here. On a brighter note, it is a perfect day for a rest day. It is a beautiful yet dreary rainy day. So today it's going to be a pajama all day sorta day! Doesn't get much better than that!
I broke down and weighed myself yesterday because I am not seeing that big of a difference and I am actually down 14 pounds! That's awesome! Some of my clothes fit better but I do have a nightgown I purchased a few months ago that I am going to do a no scale victory post with, so be on the look out for that! Off I go to enjoy my rest day and start on that pot of chili. I hope you all have a blessed day! Hello lovelies! Sorry I have been MIA the past couple of days. Sunday of course was rest day so I didn't have much to blog about and then yesterday all day long we were without internet because Belkin messed something up while they were updating routers apparently. So we had to go and get a new router this morning. But! I'm back!
So, let me tell you all about my 2 new obsessions. 1. Hummus 2. Frank's Red Hot. Not together but oh my goodness. I can eat my weight in hummus. I especially love to eat it with Snappea Crisps. Have y'all tried those? Oh my. So good. And Frank's Red Hot......I've never been one for hot sauce but I tried this on my boiled chicken and eggs and fell in love. BTW are y'all following me on social media? Click on of those button in your top right corner and follow me in Instagram and Twitter. Hello, beautiful souls. What a day. Couple of days actually. So, yesterday my sweet little girl was sick so I took an unexpected rest day. I did good with my eating all day until..........nightfall. I got weak. So. Incredibly. Weak. I gave into the delicious jar of queso dip and fajita chips. Ugh. I hated myself while I was eating it and most definitely afterwards. Then, my sweet baby boy was up from 11:30pm until 3:00am, after he fell back to sleep I slept until 5:30. Then it started to storm something awful! Did I mention I have a Shih-Tzu who has severe storm phobia? Yeah. Finally, I fell back to sleep around 6:30 and back up at 8. Did I feel like running or walking or any sort of exercise at all? Absolutely NOT! But did I do it anyway? ABSOLUTELY! I ran more during that walk/run than I ever have before and it was phenomenal. I. KILLED IT! When I wanted to stop I just repeated, "You ate the cheese dip....you ate the cheese dip!" Hahaha!! Anyway, the rest of the day went well spending time with my amazing little family. When I got home, I opened my e-mail and found an e-mail saying that I was accepted as a SWEAT PINK AMBASSADOR! I was, and still am, so excited I did a little dance. I am stoked! It is most definitely full of some amazing women! Click the button below to visit their website and join the #sweatpink family! I hope you all have a blessed evening! God Bless.
Hello and Happy October to you all. This is my very favorite month out of the year! Not because it is my baby girls birthday month or the fact that it is Halloween but because in this month is when the leaves really begin to change and it cools off to a nice crisp air outside. It is the most beautiful time of the entire year. I am going to challenge myself this month in a couple of ways. One, I am not going to weigh every day, like I have been. I am also doing a No Junk Food Challenge and an October Squat Challenge. I am really excited about seeing the results at the end of the month! I am doing the squat challenge on top of my daily workout. So, I am hoping to see some great results! I should be good and worn out by the time I get done with it all too, which will be great! Don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram both fit_curvy_momma Have a blessed day! Don't Forget! Download Lorna Jane's Fitness app through Google Play or The App Store! It has been a great app to help me keep track of how far I am coming in my weight loss journey!
